In a few words

Romain Gibeaux carried out his PhD in Claude Antony's team within the Cell Biology and Biophysics unit at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany (2008-2012). Romain stayed at EMBL for a bridging post-doc in François Nédélec's group (2012-2013). He then moved to the University of California, Berkeley, USA, to join Rebecca Heald's group in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology as a postdoc, supported by HFSP (2013-2017). In 2018, Romain was recruited at the CNRS as a Research Fellow to join the Institute of Genetics and Development of Rennes and is since 2022 the leader of the team "Microtubules, from tubulin to spindles".
