Several IGDR teams investigate biological processes at the molecular level. These studies involve interaction between proteins (RABUT, GILLET), RNAs, or proteins with RNAs (GILLET, PAILLARD) in ribonucleoprotein complexes (RNPs) whose misregulations are associated with numerous human pathologies. To foster exchanges and collaborations between these and other IGDR teams, during the next contract we will create a thematic group dedicated to molecular interactions. We will organize regular meetings and invite external speakers to discuss diverse topics related to this topic, including recent technological advances, methodological questions, druggability, modelling issues, and structural biology. Team Leaders will also meet every two months to discuss synergies, scientific strategies, and grant applications.
